Little Is Much
I would like to take this opportunity to tell you about a group
of Christian young men known as The Old Paths (formerly known as
The Old Paths Trio) and their ministry. This group of men have
been called by God to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ through
their music. Their mission is to bring the message of Salvation
through the shed blood of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
They have a heart for reaching young people, lost church
members, and for showing that our God is a God of second
chances, and third chances and many more chances.
As Christians, we all have a story of God’s Grace and Mercy.
Each member of The Old Paths has a unique and even miraculous
testimony of what God has done in their individual lives. Every
member of this group has been called by God into full time
ministry to share their stories and to spread the story of God’s
Love and Mercy through song. This group of men would rather be
known as men who sing the gospel than gospel singers.
We would like to give you the opportunity to sow a seed into
this ministry. God has called each of us to do our part. Not all
of us are called to be singers, or preachers, or missionaries,
but there is a way we all can participate. First, please pray
for this group that God would lead them and open doors for them
to minister to people. Second, it takes financial support to
sustain a ministry such as this. These men have families to
support and I know you are aware of the cost of a bus, fuel,
traveling expenses, sound equipment, etc. Also, the cost
involved in producing a quality recording is extremely high. The
Old Paths are in the studio now working on a new project to be
released later this summer. We will also be re-releasing two of
our older projects as quartet projects this summer.
Because The Old Paths focus is on ministry, makes support even
more important. We do not demand set fees for our services. We
inform churches of our goal to help meet our needs, but many
churches are not able to meet these goals. This group does not
book dates based on a church’s ability to pay. We go where God
leads us to minister and trust in Him to provide.
That is why we are asking for your help. This is how God allows
for all of us to have a part in sharing God’s love and
forgiveness with others. Some people are able to give more than
others, but remember, it is not the amount of the gift, but that
we give as God has given to us and give according to His
direction. No gift is too small to be used by God (Luke
9:13-17). We are asking you to consider becoming a “Little Is
Much” supporter. We ask that you pray and ask for God’s
direction in this matter.
If you are willing to pledge a monthly gift of any amount,
please see myself or any member of The Old Paths to sign up.
This could be an opportunity for a church, Sunday school class,
youth group or organization, or individual to have a part in
reaching people throughout our great nation for Jesus Christ by
becoming a supporter of this ministry. We also have several
programs set up for specific levels of contributions. Please
email any one of us for more information about becoming a
“Friend of The Old Paths” or a “Sustaining Friend of The Old
Paths” sponsor. You may also want to inquire about a specific
need of this ministry or even make a one time gift. You will
receive a reminder invoice each month and we accept Visa and
MasterCard. All gifts to this ministry are tax deductible.
Even if you do not feel you can contribute to our ministry
financially, we ask for your prayers and we want you to know
that we love you and pray for you. If you are able to contribute
to our ministry, please fill out the pledge from below.
In His Love,
Cindy Mize
