The only way I know how to describe our trip to Scotland is: AMAZING! We had no idea what to expect when we stepped off the plane..I mean..we expected to have a good time but we NEVER expected what we experienced!! The Convention itself was first class in every way…from the sound to the committee! When we arrived, we were taken to the house where we were to stay during the week, and it was there we met the sweetest people in the world! Michael and Margaret Stephens became dear friends in the short time we were there and treated us like royalty! The people there really loved us and they showed it by purchasing practically every CD and DVD we brought with us! We were told by the convention that we broke several records while we were there, which blew our minds! Not only did we break records in our product sales, but we were informed that the Scottish people have very high standards and rarely do they give standing ovations....we got three! The people of the Convention stated that of all 11 years of the Gospel Music Convention, we were their favorite group! Now keep in mind we aren't telling you this boastfully, but out of sheer humility! Those of you that know us, know that we give all the credit to Jesus...for He alone is worthy! We ministered at a church in Scotland on Sunday morning which was so packed, they couldn't get everyone inside the building. People were standing in the streets and listening from their cars! They really know how to worship and they love Jesus! It was so different than here in the states...these people hunger for the gospel!
We cannot wait to go back and see all our dear new friends! We will be posting our plans for our European Tour shortly where we will visit London, Ireland, Sweden, Norway and Scotland!
